We Live in Time

We Live in Time (2024)

A surprisingly touching love story, extremely well acted. Andrew Garfield continues to impress.

Intermezzo

Intermezzo, London

Went there for an anniversary dinner. It's difficult to photograph food under candlelight!

Intermezzo pasta

Intermezzo, London

The pasta was very fine indeed, as was everything we ate there.

It's his sofa. We're just allowed to use it.

Buster on the bookshelf

Buster on the bookshelf

He has very distinguished literary taste.

Early January 2025
Feels like a very different year already. Reading more, watching more films, seeing more things, walking more places. A definite improvement on the last quarter of last year.

Sausage Man

Sausage Man

This guy makes incredible sausages. He's at Primrose Hill Market most weekends.

The Order

The Order (2023)

First film of 2025. A bit silly but enjoyable enough and I really liked the end.

The Delinquents

The Delinquents (2023)

Really rather special. One of the better films I've seen recently. Reminds me a bit of the films the Safdie brothers make.

A Real Pain

A Real Pain (2024)

Loved this film, properly moved me. Will definitely watch Jesse Eisenberg's first film now too.

Nuclear War

A small book about a nuclear war - Simon Stephens

Quite moving. But I do hate the NHB style of printing plays.

Nuclear War

Simon's a friend and I like his work.
